At Munch-In Exotic Eats, we want every order to arrive quickly and in great shape. Here's what to expect, and how we handle things if a shipment runs into trouble.
Processing & Delivery
Orders are typically processed within 2-5 business days. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. All prices, taxes, and shipping rates are listed and charged in Canadian dollars.
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on orders over $39.99 CAD shipped within Canada (excluding NT, YT, and NU). Orders under $39.99, and all orders shipped within the U.S. (48 contiguous states, via UPS), are charged shipping based on order weight and destination at checkout.
Customs & Cross-Border Orders
U.S. orders may take additional time to clear customs following the removal of the de minimis exemption. Customs fees, duties, and clearance delays are set by your country's border authority, not by us, so we're unable to cover or refund these costs. If a package is returned to us by customs, we'll work with you on next steps, but we can't refund customs-related fees.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your tracking shows a delay or your package seems stuck, please contact the courier first and keep a record of that conversation — most claims start there. If the courier confirms the package is lost, let us know and we'll help you file a claim. If your address was correct at checkout and the carrier confirms delivery, we're not able to issue a refund for a package lost or stolen after delivery; if you won't be home, we'd recommend having the courier hold it for pickup.
Shipping Damage
We package every order carefully, but some items — chip bags and delicate packaging in particular — can occasionally be affected by rough handling in transit. If anything arrives damaged, see our Return / Exchange Policy for how we make it right.
Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before they ship. Because we begin picking and packing quickly, cancellations may be subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover the labor and product handling already completed.
